Oluwatofarati Agusto, FCA

Oluwatofarati (Tofarati) Agusto is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He was a member of the Capital Market Committee, an advisory body of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), on policy formulation. He is currently the chairman of IBFCAlliance Limited.

Tofarati Agusto has worked in various capacities spanning professional accounting practice, industry, and financial services. He worked with Akintola Williams & Co. (a member firm of Delloitte Touché Tohmatsu International) between 1980 and 1985. Whilst there, he rendered a range of professional services to clients in the banking, insurance, trading, and manufacturing industries.

He joined SCOA Nigeria Plc, a multinational conglomerate in 1985 where he served in various managerial positions and gained tremendous experience. He left SCOA in 1990 as the Head of its Group Management Control Department.

In 1991, Tofarati co-founded and promoted WSTC Financial Services Limited, where he has been the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer since its inception. At WSTC, Tofarati Agusto provides leadership in the areas of Strategy and Policy. He also handles top-end relationship management and marketing across product lines.
